  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IMU is failing to locate macros         *
  *                      that end with a macro extension         *
  *                      (i.e., &macname.&ext).                  *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  IMU is using the 1st 8 characters of macro name when it searches
  PANDD library by design because z/OS PDS/PDSE libraries do not
  support member names greater than 8 characters long.

  Problem Conclusion:
  DROPTYPE=NO/YES option was added to EZPARAMS/EASYTRAN options
           table.
  
      NO = Macro extension is retained (except when extension is
           ".C") (this is the default)
  
     YES = Macro extension is dropped.
           Note: Macro name is assumed to be up to the first
           located period (".") in the coded macro name.
  
  Impact on existing users:
    There is no impact on existing users.
  
    Users who have programs with macros coded with macro extension
    should set the EZPARAMS/EASYTRAN option to  `  DROPTYPE=YES.
