Error description
Per PMR 58671,180,000 ================================================================ Prereq: APAR PM78953 Date reported: 01-31-2013 Severity: 1 Users Affected: All IMU users of MU V3.2 Problem Description: Customer is getting COBOL Compiler error IGYPS2008 (missing period) before Axxxxx-AUTO-GENERATE-READ paragraph on INITIALIZE statement. Problem Summation The error is caused by a JOB statement that does not contain any Activity statements but RESET=EASYT and at least one field is defined with the RESET option. The work-around is to insert a GOTO JOB or a STOP statement, depending on the JOB intention, at end of the JOB activity statements. Example: The following would cause "IGYPS2008 missing period" error.
