    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Using ESM to assign OLA Security class *
    * can cause default security class to be *
    * assigned to an active user after an *
    *                      update.                                 *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    A user's OLA Security Class is set via ESM settings but after
    an Update the user's OLA assigned Security Class is reset to
    the system default.

Problem conclusion

  • The 'use ESM setting' indicator is incorrectly reset after
    the initial allocation of the OLA Security Class for user
    and therefore any updates for the user reverts to the
    system default setting. This indicator is no longer reset
    and therefore the ESM setting is used after any updates.
