  • You run an ISM Batch job and you have LINK statements defined
to an online ISM instance but the ISZACTV only performs the
update on the batch instance. No PUPDATE command is issued on
the remote node.

You run an ISM Batch job and you have LINK statements defined to
an online ISM instance but the ISZACTV only performs the update
on the batch instance. No PUPDATE command is issued on the
remote online ISM node.

Problem conclusion

  • The code was incorrectly identifying ISM nodes that were running
within a Sysplex environment, and those that were not in a
Sysplex environment and require LINK statements. The code now
correctly marks each node's corresponding environment.
