How to install a custom Java proxy ?

Resolving The Problem

QUESTION:How to install a custom Java proxy?

ANSWER:
1) Copy your Java proxy (with a jar extension) to <ProjectDir>\TestDatastore\DefaultTestScriptDatastore\TMS_Scripts\JavaProxies

2) Run the Java enabler:
Start > Program > Rational Suite TestStudio > Rational Test > Java Enabler

Click the "Special Java Proxies" button to select the project in which the proxy file is located. Click either the "Quick" or "Complete" button for the installation process to search for all installed Java Environments.

3) Launch the robot, go to "Tools-->General Options", click on tab Java class mapping, select the appropiate Java object type (for example Java Table), click on "Add" button, In the component field enter the corresponding class (for example "com.beechMatt.Table") in the proxy box enter the full name of your proxy (for example "beechMatt.TableProxy"), click OK buttons for these dlgs.
According to our example one line will be added "com.beechMatt.Table =
beechMatt.TableProxy" under [JavaTable] in file JavaClassMap.dat under your project\TestDatastore\DefaultTestScriptDatastore\TMS_Scripts\dat\JavaClassMap.dat

Robot can now use the installed proxy.
