APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Replication Center - ASN1571E RC1 when source table has a large
varchar field (20480 bytes in this case).  RepCenter complains
that table is too large for platform but target table already
exists and the varchar is less than platform max of 32767 bytes.

Local fix

  • This fix is in FP5 for V9.1
This fix is in FP2 for V9.5

Problem summary

  • WRONGLY REAADING THE TABLESPACE INFORMATION FOR
 AN EXISTING TARGET TABLE.

Problem conclusion

  • FIXED IN THE SUBS API
