Error description
An Instance may trap with "DTS mismatch: Sequence Request:" during concurrent ALTER/DROP of sequence and sequence use. Additional recovery information after an DB2 Instance trap: If the SQL sequence object, which was causing the DB2 trap with the ALTER/DROP statement, has dependant objects (for example it may be referenced by an SQL trigger) - then the following procedure to re-create the SQL objects may be necessary: re-start the instance quiesce instance # to gain exclusive access to the instance # (optional) drop dependant triggers drop sequence recreate sequence recreate triggers unquiesce instance # restore user access (optional) retry the application This will avoid subsequent DB2 traps when referencing the trigger object via SQL.

Do not alter / drop a sequence while using it.
