Error description
When you are using DB2 GUI tools (for example, DB2 Command Center or DB2 Control Center) to query database tables and display the query results you may run into the issue of getting the wrong sort order with columns having numeric data type. If you click on the sort button displayed in the column header the results will be displayed in wrong sort order. Example: Using german decimal delimiters (Windows Reginal and Language Options) sort order should look like following: 10,22 100,33 1.000,44 10.000,55 But the GUI displays following ordering after clicking the 'sort button': 1.000,44 10,22 10.000,55 100,33
