Error description

  • When using the non-relational HMMER wrapper a SQL1822N error is
    received indicating "XML parser error" SQLSTATE=560BD.
    For example, the following query is run:
    Select SEQUENCE, SEQUENCEDESCRIPTION, SEQUENCEEVALUE,
    SEQUENCESCORE,
    SEQUENCEHITS, DOMAINNUMBER, DOMAINSCORE, DOMAINEVALUE,
    SEQUENCEFROM, SEQUENCEFROMGLOBAL, SEQUENCETO,
    SEQUENCETOGLOBAL, HMMFROM, HMMFROMGLOBAL, HMMTO,
    HMMTOGLOBAL
    from HMMERS_SWISSPROT
    where MODEL='testmodel1'
    order by SEQUENCE
    I get the following error on Linux:
    SQL1822N Unexpected error code "Unspecified Error" received
    from data source
    "Hmmer". Associated text and tokens are "XML parser error".
    SQLSTATE=560BD
    and on Windows:
    SQL0901N The SQL statement failed because of a non-severe
    system error.
    Subsequent SQL statements can be processed. (Reason "".)
    SQLSTATE=58004
    Problem is due to customer using special characters that the
    HMMER wrapper does not handle.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected: Users of the federated HMMER wrapper
    Problem Description: Users of the HMMER wrapper may experience
    sql1822 on Unix or a sql0901 on windows when selecting from a
    nickname using the HMMER wrapper since the conversion program
    that translates vertical bars is not compatible with the DB2
    conversion. This is an add on converter only used by HMMER
    wrapper.
