Error description
If you have an object name with non-ordinary identifiers Visual Explain does not handle them correctly. For example. A Schema name with a period in it. test.admin. When using Visual Explain and logged in as test.admin the tables for VE will be created correctly via the script but when in VE and it goes to select from the VE tables it will get errors. SQL0204N "TEST.ADMIN.EXPLAIN_STATEMENT" is an undefined name.

Don't use non-ordinary object names.

Problem conclusion
Problem was first fixed in Version 8 Fixpak 13 (s060801). At a minimum, this fix should be applied on the client.
