APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Replication center and asnclp fails with ASN2125E when creating
  Q subscription with a VARCHAR() FOR BIT data column and the
  target database is Oracle.
  
  For example,
  ASN2125E The value "0" for the parameter "length" of the
  database object "SDS_MAIN200./SCDMSDLP/EXCEPT.CLUSTD" of type
  "column" at server "WSIIDB.WHSD" is lower than the minimum value
  allowed "1".
  

Local fix

• Workaround for the replication center:
  
  1. Click on the "Columns" ellipse on the
  "Which columns and rows should be replicated?" page.
  2. uncheck the "CLUSTD" (ie VARCHAR() FOR BIT DATA) column.
  click OK
  3. Generate the SQL.
  4. Modify the generated SQL before executing it.  Add the CLUSTD
  column to the IBMQREP_SRC_COLS and IBMQREP_TRGCOLS tables.  Add
  the column to the target table definition.
  
  The target DDL for CLUSTD column is 'CLUSTD LONG RAW'.
