PK43972: Full view update does not correct the state of the view, failed/interrupted update errors persist

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Files cannot be checkedout anymore after cancelling a rebase
  operation:
     Unable to checkout C:\ccweb\view\vob\filename.
     Problems performing checkout.
     ccweb: Error: Checkout is currently disabled for element
            C:\ccweb\view\vob\filename.
     An update appears to have been aborted or errors were
     encountered during an update. An update must be performed
     on the element to enable a checkout.
     ccweb: Error: Checkout is currently disabled for element
            C:\ccweb\view\vob\filename.
     Its config spec rule information is currently unavailable
     due to either an aborted update or an update in progress.
     ccweb: Error: Unable to check out
            C:\ccweb\view\vob\filename.
  Update, restore on the file does not fix the problem.
  Workaround:
  Create a new view
