    ****************************************************************
Segment fault is caused when a request is made to start or
stop the IBM HTTP Server from the IBM WebSphere Administration
console to an IBM HTTP Server that is managed on an unmanaged
node using the remote IBM Administration Server. A check is
made of the IBM HTTP Server Pidfile and if the PIdFile does
not exist the segment fault is caused because the logic checks
"errno" instead of "return code" from an Open File request.

Problem conclusion

  • Code has been corrected to check for "return code" not "errno"
on returm from Open PidFIle request.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion
    in fixpack 6.0.2.21.
