APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• JDBC Mediator framework does not handle class inheritance
  correctly in WebSphere Application Server 6.0.2.19 and V6.1.0.9
  and including all prior releases.
  .
  When EClass B extends EClass A, the EReferences of EClass A is
  not added into the RefMap in GraphBuilder which causes various
  application code failures.

Problem summary

  *                 who use generated static SDO models using    *
  *                 class inheritance.                           *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The datagraph produced by the JDBC      *
  *                      mediator does not contain data for      *
  *                      all tables in the query.                *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  When using generated static SDO models that use class
  inheritance with the JDBC Mediator, not all tables in the
  database query will be returned as part of the DataGraph.
  

Problem conclusion

• The JDBC mediator will now correctly handle SDO models using
  class inheritance.
  This fix is targetted for fixpacks 6.0.2.23 and 6.1.0.11.
