Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: Configurations with mod_include              *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A client can see corrupted output for *
    * pages processed by mod_include.                              *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply this fix if mod_include is enabled. *
    ****************************************************************
    When the mod_include filter needs more input before completely
    processing the input data, such as when an incomplete tag has
    been received, some of the input data must be saved until the
    filter is called again. mod_include did not save the input
    data properly, and it could be corrupted prior to processing of
    the remainder of the data, leading to incorrect responses.

Problem conclusion

  • mod_include was updated to save the data in the proper storage
    pool, resolving the corruption problem.
